Michael P. Naughton
About
Mr. Naughton's practice focuses on advising and counseling domestic and international insurance companies on insurance coverage issues and policy interpretation. Mr. Naughton handles complex insurance coverage litigation in federal and state courts involving maritime, aviation, commercial general liability, environmental and professional liability. Mr. Naughton has also defended various liability matters in the marine, aviation, construction and professional fields including the representation of aviation clients in connection with asbestos related liability claims.
Mr. Naughton graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1996, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History and was a member of the Binghamton University Track and Field Team. He began his legal career at Brown Gavalas & Fromm, after receiving his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 1999. Mr. Naughton was on the Dean's List at Hofstra University School of Law, and at graduation, was awarded the Estate Planning Award for Excellence.
Mr. Naughton is admitted to practice in the state courts of New York, the federal district courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
